In 2003, we moved from our museum in Victorville, California, to our new location in Branson, MO. Our place isn’t really a typical museum – it’s personal – things that Roy & Dale have done, and the kids and the family and Trigger. All the stuff Roy had saved – tools his dad had when he was little, some of his mom’s scrapbooks, pictures from the early days of the Sons of the Pioneers, all sorts of things that meant something to Roy and Dale. You know, Trigger is one of our most popular exhibits. He is mounted like so many people remember him – rearing up on his hind legs.

The next time you are in Branson, be sure to check out the Roy Rogers & Dale Evans Museum and Happy Trails Theatre!

International piano-playing phenomenon Jon England has been giving enthusiastic audiences what they want since 1979 when, at the relatively young age of 19, he wowed night-club goers in his native Great Britain with sparkling and unique renditions of everything from “New York, New York” to Gershwin’s “Rhapsody In Blue”. Early TV spots and seasons in London’s ‘West End’ amplified his national exposure and now Ragtime and Jazz classics punctuate a diverse spread of repertoire with his shows as likely to contain Hoagy Carmichael’s “Star Dust” as it is “The Wind Beneath My Wings,” just look at the 55 evergreen titles featured on Jon’s two new releases “The Entertainer” and “At Your Request” to get an idea of the palette from which he paints his musical pictures!

Royally Entertained

A remarkably phonographic memory for melody allied to an unerring sense of mood rapidly built Jon’s reputation for pleasing fans and, upon learning he has had NO formal training and remains to this day unable to read a note of music, has left people flabbergasted at his pristine yet relaxed technique. He understandably enjoys the audience-bestowed sub-title … “The Velvet Piano Player” – you’ll get the message the first time you hear him.

The Walker Family aka The RedHead Express are equally at home playing straight forward bluegrass as they are playing their own unique renditions of old timey and gospel . This wholesome family showcases their four young daughters’ beautiful harmonies, original songs, and increasing musical maturity while mom and dad add vocal depth, backup, and guidance to the ensemble. Three talented young boys at the end round out the family band. Audiences are wowed by the energy, maturity and skill level of this young family. It’s fun to watch instruments change hands, leads take turns, and just watching a family interact on stage is a rich, rewarding experience. The Walkers are doing what they love…together.
